The Parent Nurturing Program is a family based intensive 20 week program designed to reduce family dysfunction through the instruction of Positive Parenting Practices.
In abusive situations the abuser sometimes monitors the computer usage of the victim. Programs are available and easily installed that can collect history or keystrokes. If you are concerned about alerting your abuser that you are reaching out, please try to use a "safe" computer at a public library, or a trusted friend or family member's computer.
If you are in danger, dial 911. If you need immediate assistance please call our 24-hour hotline at 1-906-635-0566, our toll free number 1-800-882-1515 or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233.
SITE QUICK EXIT
To exit our site quickly, you can use our emergency escape feature by hitting the Esc button on your keyboard, or by clicking the purple "Go" bar that runs down the left side of our pages. The current browser window will be replaced by a Google page, and your browser will open a new tab up and take you to a second page.
Using the back button once won’t return you back to our site. But, this will NOT clear your history. To clear your history you will need to follow the steps outlined in the new tab to which the escape function takes you. Doing so will not harm your computer and can even improve computer performance!
